Elsie M. Adams, 74, of Franklinville peacefully passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.
She was raised by her father, the late Whitney Atkinson. As a girl, she twirled baton along with her cousin Judy for the local VFW. She attended Paulsboro High School and met her true love Tommy and they married. Elsie rallied and supported their two daughters in many activities including: baton twirling, cheerleading, Girl Scout cookie mom, coach for girl's softball and as a proud pageant mom. She enjoyed cooking and baking, visits with Judy, playing cards with Sandy, going to the casinos, bingo, her kitties, crochet projects, fishing with dad, Friday night shopping with Patty, Sunday take-out with Debi, watching movies and decorating for every holiday.
She is loved and greatly missed by daughters Debi Adams-Corwonski and her husband John, Patricia Belmont and her husband Michael along with extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Elsie will reunite with "Tommy" Thomas J. Adams, husband who predeceased her.
Relatives and friends will be received Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and again on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ. A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 10:00. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
