Michael Robbins Knox, 74, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, surrounded by family in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home, 1601 South Main St., Keller. Interment: Bourland Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Michael Robbins Knox was born Feb. 16, 1943, in Fort Worth, the only child of Jasper Wendell and Willie Roberta Robbins Knox. He married the former Carole Ann Brown at North Fort Worth Baptist Church on May 29, 1965, and together reared their daughters, Katheryn and Elizabeth.

Michael graduated from Baylor Law School and on May 10, 2017, celebrated the 50 year anniversary of his admission to the State Bar of Texas. He had many accomplishments and among them in December 2006 he was approved to practice trial and tort law by the U.S. Supreme Court and from 1961 to 1962 he was the Deputy State Master Counselor of DeMolay. But his greatest accomplishment was being a husband and father.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Wife, Carole Ann Knox; daughters, Katheryn Daniell and husband, Colton, and Elizabeth Humber and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Mallory, Macklin, Maverick, Louis, Nathan, Blake, and Sean; and a host of loving friends.
