He is survived by his wife, Margaret Estelle Butler of Washington, VA; one daughter, Gail C. (James) Blaker of Washington, VA; one son, Lewis S. (Jenalyn) Butler, Jr. of Centreville, VA; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18, 2017, from 10am until 11am with funeral services starting at 11am, at Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Center, 15044 Ryland Chapel Road, Rixeyville, Virginia, 22737. Rev. James Kilby will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, Virginia.
