Margaret Lillian Harjo was born July 15, 1958 to Darcille and Jesse Harjo
and went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2017. Lillie was a shy, and
at times, a feisty woman. Lillie always had a smile on her face, no matter
what the situation. I’m sure Lillie is smiling down upon us now.
Although Lillie never had any children of her own, she had numerous nieces
and nephews that she treated as her own. Our family was blessed to have
such a caring, generous and loving woman to call our aunt, cousin, friend
and sister. Lillie enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews while they
were growing up. She always tried to be there for them no matter what
they were doing. Lillie was the best aunt you could ever ask for.
Lillie’s activities she enjoyed were cooking for the church and listening
to classic rock. Her favorite foods were wild onions, enchiladas, goulash
and a hamburger from Bills in Tulsa. Other things Lillie enjoyed
included: watching Two and a half men, Star Wars, and General Hospital.
Being an avid OU fan, she enjoyed watching football and softball games.
But she never passed up buying Eskimo Joe t-shirts. And at night, before
going to bed she enjoyed playing Dr. Mario on her Wii game system. Lillie
will be greatly missed, but she will no longer be in pain. And she will
be with her mother, father, and brother and other relatives with a smile
on her face.
