MRS. IDA ESSMAN, 36 years old, died yesterday evening at 6:15 o'clock at the Illinois Central-railroad hospital of heart failure. Her death was sudden. Mrs. Essman lived in Fulton and was brought to this city several days ago for an operation which it was thought that she underwent well.

The body was taken to the funeral establishment of Nance & Selby, at Sixth and Broadway, where it was made ready for burial and will be shipped to Martin, Tenn., at 3:30 o'clock this afternoon for burial.
