"Lux"
Lux passed away peacefully at home May 14, 2017 at the age of 93. He was born October 30, 1923 to Isaac "Iso" Milovich and Milica "Millie" Demich.
Lux grew up surrounded by the hills of Coal City where many different adventures abounded. He honorably served in the US Army Asiatic Pacific Theatre during WWII. Upon his return he worked in the coal mines in Carbon County for 39 years where he became a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America.
Lux was known for his quick wit, strength, fun stories and wisdom in sound advice. He loved gardening and always kept an immaculate yard. Lux enjoyed his nieces and nephews and would take them hunting, fishing and hiking.
Lux married later in life to Laurie Ann Davidson on June 10, 1996 in Price, UT and proceeded to enjoy the next 21 years together.
He loved a good word search or jigsaw puzzle with the grandchildren. The grandkids loved him and called him "Papa" and looked forward to their "tender cocoa" and "dainty dunkers" in the morning and a good episode of "Gunsmoke" with him in the afternoon. He also had a special way with each of his stepchildren and made many memories with each of them.
Special thanks to Symbii Home Health and Hospice and to his devoted friend, Hilary Gordon and her weekly care.
He is survived by wife, Laurie; brother, Ted (Charlene) Milovich; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Mike, Nick, John, George, Steve, Pete and Sam; sisters, Mary, Helen, Sophie, Angie and Jelisavka.
A Remembrance Service will be held June 3, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Price 3rd LDS Ward (303 W. 500 S.) Price, Utah. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are welcome daily and may share memories at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
