Grover J. Metzgar, 92, of 115 Woodsedge Drive died Tuesday at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca.
Born in Groton, he was a life resident of the area. He was a foreman 38 years with NCR Corp. He was a member and past exalted ruler of Ithaca Elks Lodge 636.
His wife, Ruby, died in 1990. His son, Richard, died in 1933.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Shurtleff Funeral Home, the Rev. Martha Swords officiating. Burial is in North Lansing Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today and 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 103 Lincoln Ave., Groton. Elks Lodge 636 will conduct a service at 8 p.m. today.
