Mrs. Lula Mae Miller Wright, 76, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, in the Langdale Hospice House, Valdosta, GA, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Wright was born January 2, 1941, in Moniac, GA, to the late Oliver Miller and Rosa Sheitfield Miller. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Wright; four daughters: Shirley Hood, Mary Patterson, Mildred Taylor and Robbinale Gifford: one son: Robert Lee Wilson.

Survivors are three daughters: Kathline Wilson, Eastman, GA, Corine Gordan and Peggy Mincy, both of Homerville; three sons and daughters-in-law: Robert Lee & Saundra Wilson, Jr, Eastman, GA, Robert Dewayne & Heather Wilson and Hayword Wilson, both of Homerville; one brother: Oliver Pete Miller, Homerville; 12 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wright will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at two o’clock from the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment will be in the Holmes Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church.
