Rocky was born in Sullivan, NY to Alma Trumble Lewis and Herbert Lewis in 1941. He worked on farms and junkyards as a young man. He drove tractor trailer for 30 years before stroke forced him to take early retirement. He owned/operated his own business for many years. He was proud of his antique 1950 Mack truck that hauled loads daily. A marriage to Mary Skufca ended in divorce. They had 3 daughters. Judith, Jodi & Amy. He also had a daughter Deborah. He shared the last 30 years of his life with his partner/caregiver Sandra and her children. He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also 3 brothers & 3 sisters. He is predeceased by both parents. Rocky was afflicted by rheumatic fever as a preteen. He overcame his illness. He also survived several strokes and double leg amputations and fought a brave battle with cancer. His strength will never be forgotten.
