Elsie was a farm homemaker and had worked at Midwest Biscuit Co. in Burlington before her marriage and later worked at Huron School as a cook and the later as a clerk for Fry’s variety Store and also at Remember Inn.
She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Mediapolis, the PW Association, the Morning Circle, and the Young at Heart. She was also a member of the Sunshine Club. Elsie enjoyed playing cards, jig saw puzzles, needlepoint, and most of all her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Orville.
