Michael (Mike) Dean Wade age 64, of Richlands, VA passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born September 8, 1952 in Buchanan County and was the son of the late Ernie Stein Wade and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Rife Wade.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Kolodziej and Jeanette Short; two brothers, Don Wade and Allen Wade.
Mike is survived by his wife, Sue Wade; two sons, Chad Wade and wife April of Paintlick, VA, Justin Wade of Bristol, TN; one granddaughter, Madalyn Wade; two sisters, Italee Street and Jan Hylton; two brothers, Ron Wade and wife Freda, Jim Wade and wife Linda; mother-in-law, Betty Harman; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 19 at 11:00 A.M. at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Monroe Greeley officiating. Burial will follow in the Esau Rife Cemetery at Keen Mountain, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Richlands Fire and Rescue, 200 Washington Square, Richlands, VA 24641.
