Barbara Smallwood-Lewis, 80 of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully at William Childs Hospice House on May, 12, 2017.
Barbara was born on August 29, 1936 in Big Laurel Kentucky to Katie and Henry Shepherd.
Barbara came to Brevard County in 1955 and worked for Brevard County SCAT for 18 years. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and friend.
Barbara is survived by her brother Orville, daughter Katherine (Lee), sons Michael (Debbie) and Johnny, five grandchildren (Michael, Heather, Katie, Tommy & John) and three great grandchildren.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband’s Thomas Smallwood of 32 years and Berry Lewis of 7 years, Mother Katie Shepherd, Father Henry Shepherd, daughter Linda Smallwood, sister Ella Jane and three brothers, Hobart, Carlis and Silas Shepherd.
Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care is in charge of the services and a graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 10:00 A.M at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
