Dianne Hill-Hines
Hill-Hines, Dianne Dianne passed away on January 12th after a prolonged struggle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, E. Orville Evenson. Survived by her loving friends and family, including husband Paul, son Matt, mother Doris Evenson, siblings Lorene Dunphy (Todd), Rev. David Evenson (Marvene), Jeanette Amirizadeh, Doug Evenson (Laura), step-children Brad Hines (Rachael) and Lesli Launer Hines (Michael), nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. She will be remembered for her kindness, lively spirit and passion for music and theatre. After receiving an M.F.A. in Theatre, she enjoyed a long career as an actress and singer as Dianne Benjamin-Hill. She performed at theatres throughout the Twin Cities including Children's Theatre Company, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre and the Old Log Theatre. She also performed in Los Angeles, Seattle, Detroit and Colorado. More recently she worked for the Hopkins school district assisting students with special needs. Dedicated to her family and compassionate to friends, her absence will deeply impact those who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to ICA Food Shelf or Southern Colorado Repertory Theatre Company. A celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 16th at 11:00 AM with public visitation one hour prior at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15915 Excelsior Blvd. Minnetonka.
