Lucille married her one and only, LaVerne "Mickey" Coleman on August 16, 1946, when he returned from WWII and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1996.
Lou was employed as a nurse's aid at St. Vincent Hospital of Green Bay, WI, for over 40 years working the night shift. All this time she was also raising her family and working on the family's hobby farm. She was a long-time donor through the Red Cross donating gallons of blood. Lou loved playing cards up north and having lunch with her retirement group.
Lou is survived by four children: Bruce (Nancy) Coleman of Luxemburg, WI; Dixie Coleman of Green Bay, WI; Tracy Coleman of Green Bay, WI and Jeff (Lisa) Coleman, of River Falls;
11 grandchildren: Paul, Craig, Teddy, Rick "Scatter Gun", Sarah Lee, Jenny Jo, Janel (Jesse) LaRock, Cody (Kristin), Chelsy, James (Vanessa) Lasnoski, Melissa (Marshawn) and Jessica;
numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren;
sisters: Linda (John) Ortman and Ellen Nelson;
son-in-law, Ricky Pierquet;
sister-in-law and dear friend, Jackie Spears;
and her canine companion, Lola.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, "Mickey"; two daughters: Roxanne and Melody; grandson Thomas "Tommy" Collier; two brothers: Jimmy and David Spears; and a son-in-law Kurt Pansier.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N.Baird Street, Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, from 4pm until the time of the service at 7pm with Pastor Bill Kamke officiating. Lou will be laid to rest next to her husband, "Mickey" on Wednesday in Forest Home Cemetery, Athelstane, WI.
