Stephen Lawrence Aughenbaugh of Southampton, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Richboro Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was 90 years old. Stephen was born October 24, 1926 in Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, son of the late Lawrence Aughenbaugh and the late Elizabeth Aughenbaugh (nee - Dauerbach). He is the beloved husband of 57 years to Gertrude Aughenbaugh (nee Hertner). Father of Donna Bishop and her husband Jim and Stephen Aughenbaugh and his wife Denise. Pop-pop of Jimmy Bishop, Crystal Bishop, Brittany Aughenbaugh and Brooke Aughenbaugh. Brother of the late Lawrence Aughenbaugh.
Stephen was a Graduate of Temple University High School, class of 1944. He married Gertrude on April 30, 1960 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in the Olney section of Philadelphia. He was a member of Hermann - Humboldt Lodge No. 125 F.& A.M. Stephen loved to play soccer and was financial secretary of United Soccer League of Pennsylvania. He retired as a dispatcher for Pantry Pride Food Market.
