LAYTON – Wesley “Dick” Thompson, 73, passed away May 15, 2017 due to complications from diabetes.

He was born October 15, 1943 the son of Wesley and Lola Beth Garner Thompson in Tremonton, Utah.

Dick married Brenda Waters, after 23 years of marriage they divorced. He married Vickie Valencia, after 10 years of marriage they divorced.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

Dick loved anything related to sports, golf and football.

Survived by his son Robert W. (Mindy) Thompson, Clinton; daughter Amy Cutler, Layton; and grandchildren, Britton, Mylee, Mikaili and Brylee.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Larry Thompson and Owen Clead Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
