Christopher David Carpenter
February 24, 1975 - May 15, 2017

Christopher David Carpenter, 42, of Flemingsburg, passed away May 15, 2017.

He was born February 24, 1975, the son of Kathy Mullins Carpenter and the late David Walker Carpenter.

Christopher graduated from Fleming County High School in 1993 and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1994-1998.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Roberts Carpenter; his children, Caleb and Julia; and his stepdaughter, Jessica. In addition to his mother Kathy, he is survived by his sister, Emily Burns and husband Danny; his nephews, Garrett and Devin; and his nieces, Sarah and Anna. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles and friends.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the Fleming County Cemetery. Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.
