Bobby J. Doss, 76, of Pampa, passed away May 16, 2017 in Pampa.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Central Baptist Church, with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating.

Entombment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mr. Doss was born April 17, 1941 in Lubbock. As a young child, his family moved to Pampa where he attended schools, graduating from Pampa High School in 1959. Bobby married his high school sweetheart, Clarice Quary after they graduated high school together on June 20, 1960 in Pampa. As a young man, he worked at his family’s Food Center. Bobby and Clarice moved several places, living in Midland, Roswell, New Mexico, Lubbock, and finally returning to Pampa where he worked for Bourland Leverich for nine years before retiring. He was an active member of Central Baptist Church where he participated in baptisms, senior choir and Sunday school. Bobby was a loving and loyal husband, father and family man. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Clarice Doss of the home; two sons, Robert Doss of Haskell and Leonard Doss of Woodland Park, Colorado; a daughter, Deborah Jimison of Corpus Christi; a brother, Wayne Doss of Culpeper, Virginia; three grandsons, John Doss of Haskell, Dustin Youngblood of Seadrift, Daniel Youngblood of Edna; a granddaughter, Raven Doss of Woodland Park, Colorado and a step grandson, Brian Brown of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Martha Doss; and a brother, Darrell Doss.
