Cheryl "Sue" Harper, 67, passed away Wednesday September 28, 2016 after a two year battle with cancer.
Sue was born October 12, 1948 to Jim and Myrtle Harper of Vicksburg,MS.
She retired in 2004 after many years of employment with numerous auto dealerships in and around the Vicksburg area.
She is survived by her brothers James Harper,Sr. of Vicksburg, Cecil Harper and wife Karen of Madison,MS. as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceasing her were her parents Jim and Myrtle Harper, Vicksburg,MS; brother William "Sonny" Harper, Springfield,LA; sister Bettie Middleton, Vicksburg,MS.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions are made to the animal rescue organazation of your choice as Sue loved animals, especially her cats.
The family would like to thank the following doctors, staff and friends for care, compassion and support she received as she fought this horrible disease: Dr. Gloria Butler, Dr. Martin Newcomb, Dr. Eugene Ferris,III, the staff at the Vicksburg Cancer Clinic and Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland,MS, faithful friends, Charlene Toney, Dr. Eugene Ferris,III, and especially her "Chemo" buddies who have come and gone since 2014, and many others.
