Michael G. Dees, 60, of Sherman, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his residence.
Michael was born on February 26, 1957 in Springfield, the son of Wesley J. Jr. and Beverly Ann Cote Dees.
Michael was a 1975 graduate of Williamsville High School. He was currently employed with MD Designs for over 38 years and Menards for the past 3 years. Michael was a former fire fighter for the Sherman Fire Department. Michael enjoyed golf, bowling, and darts. He coordinated many softball leagues and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Susan Dees; and his brother, Louis "Bud" Dees.
He is survived by his siblings, Annie, Tracey and Patrick ; nieces and nephews,; his great-nephew,; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Moon.
Private family burial will be held at a later date at Wolf Creek Cemetery.
