Yvonne A. Roth, 65, of Ham Lake, MN, died February 3, 2007 at the University of Minnesota Hospital after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Yvonne was born to Edward and Alice Kulesa in Waubay, SD, on March 4, 1941, and raised on a farm near Pickerel Lake.
She married Larry Roth at St. Joseph Church in Grenville, SD, on May 13, 1961, and they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary last May. She enjoyed being with family and was very active in the Church of Saint Paul in Ham Lake. Yvonne will always be remembered for the deep and unshakeable faith she demonstrated her entire life, but never more clearly as during her final illness.
Yvonne is survived by her devoted husband, Larry, Ham Lake, MN; her daughter, Cheryl (Don) Trautner, Roslyn, SD; two sons, Todd (Brenda) Roth, Forest Lake, MN, and Troy (Jennifer) Roth, Little Rock, AR; four sisters, Louise Grajczyk and Diane (Noel) Johnson, Aberdeen, SD, Marilyn (Roger) Madison, Elma, WA, and Tina (Loren) Becht, Chicago, IL; three brothers, Ed (Denise) Kulesa, Andover, MN, Terry (Lori) Kulesa, Grenville, SD, and Mike Kulesa, Princeton, MN; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a multitude of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and one grandson, Dale Trautner.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of Saint Paul in Ham Lake, MN. Visitation was held one hour prior to Mass, and on Tuesday, February 6, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Gearhart Funeral Home in Coon Rapids, MN. A wake service was held at 7:00 p.m.Interment was at Epiphany Catholic Cemetery.
