Mr. Dennis Keith Ferguson, age 69, of Quincy, IL passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Home in Quincy, IL.

He was born April 7, 1948 in Quincy a son of Kenneth Clifford and Mary Madeline Fields Ferguson. He married Donna K. Edwards August 1, 1970 in LaBelle, MO.

Dennis enjoyed fishing and hunting, cutting wood, bowling, rodeos and watching wrestling on TV. He was a fan of St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and was a member of the NRA. One of his favorite pastimes was reading western books, watching westerns on TV and being with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include two sons, Wm. C. “Bill” (Jessica) Ferguson and their two children, Alex and Aubrie all of Quincy and David Keith Ferguson and his four children, Logan, Mar’ke, Brayden and Jace all of Quincy; his former wife Donna Ferguson of Ewing; sisters, Karen (Jim) Wallace of Holden, MO, Elaine Annese of Sherman, CT and Sandra (Bruce) Schondelmeyer of O’Fallon, MO; brother Kenny Ferguson Jr. of Ewing and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Shannon M. Ferguson, brother Bill Ferguson and granddaughter Kaylee Ferguson.

Funeral service were held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ball-Davis Funeral Home in Ewing with Rev. Tim Rosenboom officiating. Burial was in Ewing Memorial Cemetery in Ewing, MO.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Pallbearers will be: Logan Baze, Adam Collins, Aaron Howell, Johnathan Howell, David Burbridge, and Alex Ferguson

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Gary Ferguson and Kenny Ferguson Jr.
