"Washougal, July 12-(Special)- William Granville Andrews, 89, Civil War veteran, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary Dale in Washougal following a long illness. Born Juy (sic) 2, 1844, Mr. Andrews had made his home in the Camas-Washougal vicinity for the past 20 years.
Besides his daughter, Mrs. Dale, survivors include four brothers [error] Henry and Hiram in McMinnville, Ore., Harvey in Port Drake, Calif., and Charles in Farney, Neb,; and two sisters, one in Nebraska and one in Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Washougal Methodist church with the Rev. T.J. Hazleton officiating. Interment will be in the Washougal cemetery, and the body will be at the Swank chapel in Camas, until just prior to the services."
