My mother enjoyed reading, especially murder mysteries. Whenever we watched a mystery on t.v. she would usually pick out who did it very early on and was spot on. She was a very kind person and enjoyed visiting her friends. She loved to laugh and tell stories of the fun times she had with her life long friends. She loved all babies, dogs and cats. Many times she would save the lives of abandoned or orphaned kittens by nursing them with an eye dropper until strong enough to eat solid food. Her favorite color was definitely purple and she always took pride in her appearanccce. She especially liked brightly colored clothing, but tastefully in style. She also enjoyed music, especially gospel - I remember when we were kids we would all sing in the car to most songs on the radio. She enjoyed going to Sunday church services and although she had three wiggly kids with her and we sat in the back row, I think she was still able to get the message of the sermon. At the end of life she suffered a lot with medical issues but I know that she is no longer suffering and is now at peace and is with our Father in heaven
