Richard Allen Ball, age 68, passed away July 19, 2015 in Sun City West, Arizona.

Richard was born to Perry and Martha Ball in Longmont, Colorado on August 11, 1946. The family moved to Wickenburg in 1947. Ric graduated from Wickenburg High School in 1964. He joined the U.S. Army serving from 1965 to 1971. He married his wife in November of 1972.

Ric worked many years for Benner-Nauman before working as an electrician with his father-in-law’s business, Wickenburg Electric.

When his father-in-law retired he bought out the company and changed the name to Ric’s Electric. He wired many, many houses in Wickenburg through the years before he retired in 2008.

When his father-in-law began dialysis treatment he began driving the dialysis van to Phoenix three times a week to allow patients from Wickenburg to get the medical help they needed. He continued to drive the van for three years before a dialysis center was built here locally.

Ric was known for his sense of humor and willingness to help anyone. He was always looking for someone who needed something done. He liked to keep busy, whether it was with his beautiful flowers, his yard, helping neighbors or entertaining his grandchildren.

In 2012, Ric gave his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. His family will miss him greatly but they are comforted knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior in Heaven.

Ric is survived by his loving wife, a brother, his four children and his nine grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a great many friends.

The family suggest memorial contributions in Ric’s memory to World Evangelism-Potter’s House Church.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Potter’s House Church at the corner of Apache & Adams Streets in Wickenburg.
