Peacefully on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Bluewater Health, D'Arcy Widdis passed away at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Wilda Widdis (2015) for 67 years. Loving father of the late D'Arcy Jr., Rick, Terry, Kim and Chris. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Marvel Widdis. D'Arcy and Wilda owned and operated Widdis IGA in Point Edward for many years. He was a well-known amateur golfer in the area. A celebration of D'Arcy's life will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, June 27, 2016, at 2:30 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario (cheques only at the funeral home please).
