Christopher Robert Garner, age 32, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017. He was born to Linda and the late Tommy Garner on April 23, 1985 in Taylor, Texas.

Christopher graduated from Taylor High School in 2003 and attended college. Christopher worked for TXU Oncor as a meter-reader and then as a contractor laborer at different locations. Christopher enjoyed his cars, martial arts and landscaping at his home and heavy metal music.

Christopher was predeceased by his father Tommy Garner, maternal grandparents Angelita and Guillermo Trevino, Sr. and paternal grandparents Mary and Charles Garner, Sr., all from Taylor, Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Linda G. Betak and his step-father Charlie Betak, Jr., his only sister Leslie Garner-Pritchett and brother-in-law Paul, niece Jamie Pritchett and nephew Colt Pritchett from Collierville, Tennessee. Also numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 7pm at Providence Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, Texas. Church services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Bogan, Johnathan Holman, Shawn Trevino, David Betak, Lee Betak and Benny Cervenka.

The family would like to thank everyone for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
