Nelda Audine Hayes, 73, of Saratoga, died Sunday, at her residence. Nelda retired from the Beaumont Enterprise as a route carrier after many years of service and was also a florist for Harriett's Florist in Kountze. She was a faithful member of the West End Baptist Church in Saratoga. She is survived by her son Myron Hayes and his wife Linda; her brothers, J.C. Cotten and Joe Cotten; her sister, Edna Briggs; her four grandchildren Lana Fishel, Amanda Hayes, Thomas Hayes, and Denita Baird; six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
