Laura Lansdown, 76 years, 5 days old, went to Heaven on May 12, 2017.

Laura was born May 7, 1941 at Council Grove, KS to William and Ruth (Pratt) Wallingford.

Laura and Charlie Lansdown were united in marriage on October 14, 1955 in Marshfield, MO and to this union nine children were born. She later remarried Ike Lansdown. After Ikes passing, she had a good friendship with Howard.

Laura attended Anchor and Pleasant Hill Schools. enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Branson with her good friend Sue Pool. She loved her family very much and will miss her greatly. She worked for many years at DOCO.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Lansdown, two sons, Loren Lansdown and infant Charlie Lansdown Jr, one infant daughter, five brothers, and two sisters.

Laura is survived by two sons, Bobby Lansdown and Billy (Janet) Lansdown; daughters, Betty (Les) Boyd, Shirley Mitchell, Patricia Tilton and Dedee (James) Freeman; brothers, Wally (Myrtha) Wallingford, Bill Wallingford and Fred Wallingford; sisters, Ida Arnold, Ruthie Maloney and Reva Everett; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Funeral services for Laura will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial following in the Denney Cemetery, Ava, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. to service time in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn.
