Mrs. Lola Jean Hall, 76, of Jane, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday morning, May 13, 2017, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri, after a recent battle with cancer.

Jean entered this life on January 30, 1941, in Formosa, Arkansas, one of eleven children born to the late Willard and Ethel (Chance) Boyer. Her formative years were spent in the Russellville, Arkansas area. On November 8, 1969, she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Hall and to this union three children were born. They moved to McDonald County Missouri in 1988. Besides being a devoted homemaker, Jean worked at Petit Jean Poultry in Russellville and retired from Tyson’s in Noel, Missouri. She enjoyed quilting and was an avid glassware collector.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Hall on October 20, 1991; and five brothers, Melton, Bobby, Charles, Gary and Marvin.

Jean is survived by her three children, Shelia Manes of Jane, Missouri, James Hall and wife, Rhonda, of Anderson, Missouri and Connie Hall of Springdale, Arkansas; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Billy Nabours of Russellville, Arkansas; four sisters, Lorene Powell of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Patsy Boyer, Mary Nabours and Sarah Nabours all of Russellville; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hall are 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor Marilyn Obrien officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held privately in the Union Cemetery near Stella, Missouri.
