PAMPA — Michael "Mike" Wayne Phelps, 66, of Pampa, formerly of Amarillo, died Friday, May 12, 2017.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro. Arrangements are by Winegeart Funeral Home of Pampa.
Mr. Phelps was born March 24, 1951, to Delton and Christalene Riddle Phelps in Gainesville. He had a heart of gold, was a very loving and tender man and wouldn't stand for any ill words about others.
Survivors include his parents, Delton and Christalene Phelps of Whitesboro; his companion, Lacey Kay Green of Pampa; a son, Christopher Delton Phelps of Amarillo; two brothers, Troy Lee Phelps of Dexter and Daniel Ray Phelps of Whitesboro; a daughter, Jennifer; and four granddaughters.
