Chris grew up in Los Fresnos, Texas as the oldest child, setting an example of hard work and love for the family. He graduated from Los Fresnos High School Salutatorian of 450 students and spoke at his graduation. He served 8 years in the Navy where he served during the Gulf War, Operation Desert Storm. He had many opportunities to travel and experience the world.
In 2005, he and his family moved to Inkom, Idaho and he worked with VTCU for 11 years, most currently as Productions Manager.
Anyone who knew anything about him knew his number one priority was his family and being their number one fan. He spent over 20 years coaching, mentoring, and supporting his kids and countless youth. He left a legacy of love, hard work, and putting your best foot forward.
His wife, children, and grandchildren feel as though they’ve lost their personal superhero.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Rapid Creek LDS Chapel, 801 N. Rapid Creek Road, with Bishop Ernie Moser conducting. A viewing will be held from 6-9:00 PM, Monday, May 15th and from 9:30-10:30 AM, Tuesday morning, both at the church. His interment will follow the services at the McKee Family Cemetery.
