GRAHAM - Mr. Matthew Harrison, 87, of 634 Rockwood Drive, died Jan. 23, 2014, at the Hospice Home.
He was the husband of Mrs. Alberta Russell Harrison, who survives, and the son of Mr. Andrew Harrison and Mrs. Lila Talley Harrison, both deceased.
Mr. Harrison was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, of the home, he is survived by a brother, Percell Harrison (Alice) of Norlina, N.C.; sisters, Nannie Lou Jones of Palmer Spring, Va. and Henrietta Steed of Norlina, N.C.; grandson, Damon Martin; stepsons, Moses Mayfield (Lenora), Ralph Mayfield, John Mayfield (Airleen) and Milton Mayfield (Mattie); and stepdaughter, Carolyn M. Wallace.
He was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Kenneth Harrison; a daughter, Evelyn Veronica Harrison; and eight brothers and three sisters.
