Obituary of Lynn Thomas
S. Lynn Thomas, age 70, of Gulfport, passed away on May 12, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm M. “Mac” Thomas; her father, Ralph Carlton; and her mother, Margie Foote.

Survivors include her children, Kelley Ann Todd, and Matthew (Amanda) Thomas; her brother, Hunter W. “Billy” Foote; 3 grandchildren, Lauren Grace (Josh) Coots, Logan Joseph Rebaldo, and Mackenzie Addison Thomas; 3 great-grandchildren, Adalyn Grace Coots, Britton Emory Coots, Brecken Joseph Rebaldo; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Thomas was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport. She began work at South Central Bell, Gulfport Police Communications Division, worked with children with disabilities, and later found her calling as a nurse. She returned to school at age 40 and became a Registered Nurse working at Biloxi Regional, Dr. Middleton’s office, Harrison County Health Department, and finished her career at Hancock County Schools.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, from 1 – 2 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A prayer service will be at 2 pm in the chapel. A graveside service will be at 3:30 pm at Byrd’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Carriere, MS
