Wm. Sherman Gill

William Sherman Gill, age 37, died suddenly Thursday evening in M-H Hospital following a heart attack.

Mr. Gill, native of Virginia, was a spinner at American Enka Corporation, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a Marine veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Beulah Goforth Gill; daughters, Gloria Jean, Sharon Reness, Sandra Lee, of Morristown; and Terrill Dean Gill, Eugene, Oregon; mother, Mrs. Kathryn Gill, Morristown; brothers, Gordon, Kingsport; Jimmy, Newport; and Clifford Gill, of Marion, Va.; sisters, Mrs. Helen Cadle, Mrs. Frances Irwin and Mrs. Edna Roberts, Bristol, Va.; and Mrs. Ruby Watts, Morristown.

Services will be held Sunday at 2:30 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. S. Felton Carter officiating. Military graveside services will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens.

The body will lie in state at the church for half an hour before the service.

The family will receive friends this evening and Saturday evening from 7 to 9:30 p. m. at Brooks Mortuary."
