KILLED - S-Sgt. Eddie P. Rush, 26, son of Mrs. Dellie Rush, 118 Twenty-second street, died December 27 in England as a result of injuries sustained in an airplane wreck, according to word received from the War Department. He was a rear gunner with the Air Force, and had been overseas since August 1943. He entered service in June, 1941. He had won the Air Medal, a Good Conduct ribbon, and service ribbons for American Defense, the Asiatic and European wars. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Monica Robinson Rush, of Statesboro, Ga., and two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Newsome, of Columbus, and Mrs. Lela Serafire, of California. per: Lois Goodin Hottinger
