Passes Away After Illness of a Week - was 79 Years Old
South Deerfield, April 22 - Mrs. Lottie Hutchinson Scott Arms, 79, wife of Alfred Arms, died at her home yesterday, after an illness of about a week.
Mrs. Arms was born in Wethers [?], Vt. April 17, 1851, a daughter of the late Richard and Elizer Hutchinson. Forty years ago she was married to Alfred Arms of South Deerfield. A son Frank Scott by a former marriage died 28 years ago. Beside her husband, she leaves three brothers, George and William of Greenfield and Frank Hutchinson of Guilford, Vt. She also leaves five step-children, Louis Arms of Westfield, Walter Arms of Springfield, Mrs. David Fay of Greenfield, Mrs. Frank Grigware of Holyoke and Mrs. Harry White of Willimansett. The funeral will be held at the home on Thayer street, Thursday afternoon at 2.30, and the burial will be in Brookside cemetery.
