Obituary
Funeral Services for Charles Newton Allison, of Clermont, Route 1, were held Wednesday at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Claud Hood and the Rev. Stanton Nicholson officiating.
Burial was in the churchyard. Ward's Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Allison died at Hall County Hospital following a 12 day illness.
A life long resident of Hall County, he was a construction worker. Mr. Allison had been a member of Trinity Methodist Church for 25 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mary Staton; three sons, Robert Luther Allison, Ray Dean Allison, and Charles Larry Allison; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Newton Jasper Allison, of Clermont; a brother, L. T. Allison of Forest Park; and five sisters, Mrs E. J Kanady, Mrs J. W. Standridge, Mrs. G. L. VanCleave, Mrs. R. D. Kanady, and Mrs Forrest Rogers.
