She was born April 29, 1926, in Columbia, Ky., to the late Moss Burton Sr. and Lena (Burton) Burton. She married Delmer L. "Dink" Badger on July 7, 1951. He preceded her in death April 30, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Steve (Delores) Fletcher of Flat Rock and Tona (Anne) Badger of Shelbyville; three daughters, Terry King of Shelbyville, Thresia Cox of Flat Rock and Cathy (Mike) Caito of Shelbyville; four sisters, Zannie Estes of Greensburg, Ky., Elnora (Arnold) Burton of Edinburgh, Beatrice (Dale) Badger of Nashville and Naomi Weber of Edinburgh; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Moss Burton Jr. and Luther Burton; and two sisters, Alma Hood and Cecil Knight.
She was a member of Flat Rock Christian Church and Columbus American Legion Auxiliary. She retired from Alma Plastics in Edinburgh. She enjoyed quilting and fishing.
