She spent her career working for Avon Automotive until her time of retirement 23 years later. She loved spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, and was quite fond of Danielle Steel books. She enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley. She was tougher than nails and her family will remember her as a 'tough old bird'.

Survivors included by her loving husband, Marvin; 2 children, Roxanne Wright & Bob Koon, and James Sharp & Connie Schultz; 7 grandchildren, Ryan & Kate Wright, Kotey & Jennifer Wright, Mindy & Joshua Tobias, Sierra Sharp, Kyle Wright, Kyle Koon, and Corey & Justice Koon; 11 great-grandchildren, Evison, Ryan, Mason, Dexter, Wyatt, Kayona, Hailie, Logan, Cooper, Carter and Maelyn; special friend, Janice Cox; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garth 10 Nov 1963 & Edna in Dec 1982; 2 brothers, Greg Ryan and Leo G 20 Nov 2005 & Barbara Lynn (Kinsley) Ryan 05 Aug 1985; and her grandparents, Harry 30 Mar 1957 & Gladys Marian (Demoray) 02 Jun 1993 Ryan.
Visitation was 11 am - 12 pm Tuesday 16 May 2017 at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac. Funeral services were 12 pm Tuesday 16 May 2017 at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home with Chaplain Walter Ross officiating.
