Karen Adeline Brittian Ply, 57, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 14, 2017, in Port Arthur, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Steve Neal of In His Steps Church with burial following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.

Born in Newton, Texas, on December 3, 1959, Karen was the daughter of W.H. and Laverne Brittian. She worked as a waitress at Waffle House and loved spending time with her family. Karen will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Karen is survived by her father and step-mother, W.H. and Mary Brittian; children, Roger Ply, Jr. and wife, Crystal, Franklin Ply and wife, Jennifer, Brandy Ply, Miranda Neal and husband Bubba, Jason Ply, Justin Ply and wife, Ashley, and Cynthia McLaughlin, as well as being a mom to many others; grandchildren, Chasity and Kasie Neal, Calvin Ply, Morgan Durden, Jailyn and Camden Ply, Caden Ply, Brody Lonion, Jade Vickery, Logan and Ethan Ply, Rylan and Raely Ply; and her siblings, W.H. Brittian, Jr. and Myra Sue Cunningham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ply, Sr.; son, Calvin Ply; mother, Laverne Brittian; and grandparents, Jim and Mamie Elliot and Dick and Martha Brittian.

Serving as pallbearers will be Roger Ply, Franklin Ply, Jason Ply, Justin Ply, Miranda Neal, and Brandy Ply.
