Dwayne Clyde Williams, 94 passed away May 6, 2017 at his home in rural Chetek, Wisconsin. Dwayne was born to Albert and Verlie (Phetteplace) Williams on October 17, 1922.

He was raised at Wildwood Log Cabin Resort and graduated from Chetek High School with the class of 1940. On December 6, 1943, he married Joyce A. Keller. Dwayne worked at Abbott Dairies and other businesses before retiring as an insurance agent with Johnson & Johnson Insurance Agency. He served in the China, Burma, India Theater of Operations during World War II.

He enjoyed his family, his horses, golfing with his buddies and gardening, especially his wildflowers.

Dwayne is survived by his sons, Dean, Dennis (Rachel), grandchildren; Grant (Shelly), Clark (Ann), Lisa (Jason), Cody, Leah and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Joyce, one son, Gary and daughter-in-law Rhonda.

Memorial services for Dwayne and Joyce will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Burnham-Ours Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held privately at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
