A rosary will be held at 6:30pm Fri 4, 2000 at Hixson Funeral Home, Marksville. Visitation will be 5pm til 10pm, Fri & 8am til 10:45am Sat. at the funeral home.
Mr. Brouillette, of Bossier City, LA formerly of Marksville, LA died Mon, 1-31-2000 at the VA Medical Center in Shreveport. Like his parents, Kent never met a stranger. He graduated from Marksville High School, served in the Air Force 4 yrs & thereafter spent his life working, helping friends & doing what he loved best - Hunting!
Survivors are daughters, Angela Christiansen of Portland, OR, Kelly Willis of Portland, OR, Emily Mancia of Portland, OR, Sons, Kyle Brouillette & Joseph Brouillette both of Fayetteville, AR & Wendy Jarvis & Shannon Hoffman of Fayetteville, AR. Sister Janice Desselle of Marksville & nine grandchildren. Kent will also be remembered fondly by a special friend, Cynthia Franklin along with many devoted friends who knew him as an avid hunter,multi-talented handyman & helpful friend in the workplace.
The family wishes to express their many thanks to the doctors & loving staff at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport for the caring attention given to Kent during his illness.
