They lived in Mercer, ME, until 1845. Then they moved to west. Ebenezer was a member of the Baptist church. Ebenezer and Louisa have 9 children listed:

In 1860 Ebenezer and his family are listed in the Richland Twp., Delaware county, IA, census. Again occupation is farmer and value of his estate is $150.
