Martha Louise (McFarland) Barnett was born July 28, 1928 to Louie Edward Mann and Della (Mann) Smith in Alabama and passed from this life May 10, 2017 at Alliance Medical Center in Durant Oklahoma she was 88 years old.
Martha had three sisters and two brothers. Martha Married James Richard McFarland April 1, 1944 in Phenix City Alabama. Martha had six children, four sons Richard McFarland, Raymond McFarland, James McFarland, and Donnie McFarland and two daughters Debra McFarland and Janice McFarland (Moose). Martha enjoyed fishing, country music, watching hummingbirds and all colors of roses, spending time with her family and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grand children. Martha moved from Alabama to Akron Colorado where she raised her family. Martha was a loving and caring person.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband James McFarland, Daughter Debra McFarland, both her parents and grandparents and two sisters, son in law Terry Moose and granddaughter Shelli Serrano and daughter in law Patty McFarland.
Martha is survived by her four sons, Richard and Wife Rose McFarland and family, James McFarland and family, Raymond and wife Vera McFarland and family and Donnie McFarland and family and Daughter Janice McFarland (Moose) and family, her sister Maxine and husband Bert Williams and family, two brothers Marvin Smith and family and Charles Smith and family, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
