He was preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Boyd and John R Boyd; and two sisters, Grace Boyd-Hilton and Lucile Boyd-Teague.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Boyd of the home; four sons,and three daughters. Darrel J Boyd, Shawnee, Larry A Boyd, Tampa Fl., William Jimerson, Overland Park, Julie F Boyd-Mitchell, Olathe, Estelle Jimerson-Talley, Salina, Charles Jimerson, Alma Ak, and Judy Jimerson-Mays, Independence Mo.;24 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm, Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998 at Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 143 Blackbob Road, Olathe.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday, Dec 21, 1998 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Olathe.
