PITTSFIELD -- Lauren L. Martin, 14, of Uwchlan, Pa., died Sunday at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after a long illness. She was the great-granddaughter of Mary Blake of Pittsfield.
Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., on May 6, 1987, daughter of David and Cheryl Jacob Martin, she was a student at the Child Career Development Center of Coatesville.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Church in Upper Uwchlan.
Besides her parents, of Exton, and great-grandmother, she leaves two sisters, Erin E. Martin and Colleen C. Martin, both at home; her paternal grandparents, Dennis F. and Elinor Martin of Berkley, and her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Martin of Taunton. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Richard F. and Ann M. Jacob of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A Funeral Mass for Lauren L. Martin, 14, will be celebrated Friday at 11 at St. Joseph's Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, Pa. Family and friends may call from 7 to 9 on Thursday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday at JAMES J. TERRY FUNERAL HOME, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Downingtown.
