BENJAMIN A. SPRINGETT, JR.
Benjamin A. Springett, Jr., of Conesus died Oct. 1, 1985. Mr. Springett was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Avon, the son of Benjamin A. Springett, Sr. and Mary Feeley Springett. Mr. Springett was predeceased by his wife, Barbara.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Springett was a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors' Association, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Joseph Gallipeau American Legion Post and the Disabled American Vererans’ Club.
He was also a member of the New York State Association of Civil Engineers, the Conesus Rod and Gun Club, and St. William's Church.
He is survived by his sons, Clifford of Atlanta, Ga., and Benjamin of Conesus; his sisters, Dorothy Clark of California, Florence Brah of Wisconsin, and Ruth Wall of Fowlerville; his brothers, Richard of South Carolina, William of Newark, and Donald of Ohio; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, Oct. 5 at St. William's Church in Conesus with burial at Oakridge Cemetery, South Livonia. Arrangements were by Brown-Drowne Funeral Home.
Memorial donations may be made to St. William's Church, Conesus, 14435 or the Disabled American Veterans, 144 South Main St., Mt. Morris, 14510.
