He was born on October 7, 1941, the son of Rueben and Beatrice (Keefe) Norton. On February 21, 1964, he married Roberta Kalleck.
Dennis was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was an amazing mechanic and was the founder of Performance Unlimited. Though he was hard-working and enjoyed his work, his life centered around his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren are what he cherished most. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; and their children, Dennis (Michelle) Norton of Johnsburg, Denise (Peter) Hunt of Marengo, Bonnie (Kevin) Huff of Ringwood, Michael (Renee) Norton of Johnsburg; grandchildren, Kyle Huff, Brianna Huff, Makayla Huff, Kain Norton, Isaac Norton, Julia Norton and Brandon Norton.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sandra Norton.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 3, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a memorial service beginning at 7:30 pm at Colonial Funeral Home & Crematory, 591 Ridgeview Dr., McHenry, IL. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 9:00am at McHenry County Memorial Park in Woodstock for graveside service.
