Barbara Shaddox Chase, age 62, of Pascagoula passed away on May 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 8, 1955 in Pascagoula and has been a lifelong resident. Barbara graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1973 and worked in the Fine Jewelry department for McRae’s/ Belk in Gautier for close to 20 years. She was an active member of Church of His Presence in Daphne, AL and will be missed by all that knew and loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Maudie Shaddox. Barbara is survived by her son, Joshua Chase, Grand Rapids, MI; daughter, Sevrah Ivy, Pascagoula; son-in-law, Gary Ivy, Pascagoula; grandson, Dylan Chase, Grand Rapids, MI; brother, Wayne Shaddox, Big Point; sister, Catherine Imel, Hamilton, MS.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2017, 1:00-3:00pm, at Faith United Methodist Church on Chicot Road in Pascagoula. Funeral Service will follow at 3:00pm with Sherry Wycoff officiating.
Committal Service will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017, 2:00pm, in the Mausoleum of Jackson County Memorial Park in Pascagoula.
